HELPING FEED THE HUNGRY

Share The Harvest Food Pantry is here to help Camden County residents with their nutritional food needs.  We receive a majority of our food from The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri, located in Columbia, Missouri.  Share The Harvest helps approximately 800 families-over 1,800 people a month.  We are a certified USDA commodities pantry and use USDA/Government income/poverty guidelines to qualify individuals and families for TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) and CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food Program) for seniors.  However, we never turn anyone away – if they need food, they get food!  Clients can visit the pantry once a month and they receive over 25 pounds of food per person.  Annually, we distribute an average of 700,000 pounds of food to those in need-free of charge.

We are here for our Community- Share the Harvest is a community resource center and a Salvation Army Extension office.  We can help with emergency monetary aid for fuel, propane, prescriptions, water/sewer, electricity, or rent when funding is available. Our thrift store also offers vouchers to assist individuals/families in an emergency situation with their home & clothing needs.
